Firstly informed by Eurogamer, the new version of the PlayStation 5 has arrived at the stores in Australia. Eurogamer also lets us know that they have found the current new version from the UK as well. The new version does not have any major changes, but the most noticeable things are that the console weighs 300 grams less. You can also now easily remove the bottom stand from the device.
This change will come to both models of the PlayStation 5. There is no information about it arriving in other places yet. You will recognize it from the model number though, the new model number is CFI-1100.
